Turned out to be the second cylinder head gasket failure. I didn't check the tension of the cylinder head bolts when I was restoring the bike. It turned out one of them wasn't tighten at all! So after some time, the vibration and constant internal combustion did their job and ripped the gasket out.

12 hours of my own labor, $65 for the gaskets, another stripped exhaust manifold stud and we are back on the road! This time made it from Los Angeles all the way back to SF bay area. Had to ride at night mostly, because it was over 100F outside. Cali was melting!

Had to ride in a long sleeves shirt, because the air was burning my arms even at 70 mph!

Question! I started to feel wobbling between 65 and 70 mph. Did not go faster, cause I felt I could crash the bike. I checked the tension of the STEERING STEM bolt. It's fine. I didn't have any load in my saddle bag, so it's not an issue of weight distribution. Any ideas what can it be? It doesn't wobble when you speed up or lean. But it gets scary when you let go the throttle. Didn't change anything on the bike lately. Well, except gaskets, but I'm sure it doesn't count. I did ride 80-90 before, no problem.

Glad it was "just" a head gasket.

What kind of "wobble?" In the front wheel? Where?

Did you lose the balance weights?

Put the tire in the air and check for bearing play.

Check the tires for abnormal wear and/or anomalies.

Spin it and check for lateral run out.

Tires and bearing are new, but I'll check anyway. Good idea about the weights! That might be a reason. Thank you kindly sir!

You're welcome.

A "wobble" is usually from lateral run out, but we could be talking about a balance issue if we are interpreting "wobble" differently.

Default Wobble fixed!

On the way to the workshop, I felt that every time I roll on the throttle the drive belt pulls forward the right side of the rear wheel. That gave me an idea, that my wobbling is actually a wiggling of the rear fork. The reason showed itself as soon as I jacked up the bike: the pivot bolt #10 on the rear fork wasn't tightened at all! That was a close call, I might say. Would be very unfortunate to lose it doing 70 mph on a highway. That would be an epic fail. 15 minutes on a lift, tighten the bolt to 68 N-m and off we go!
