Buy it and do what you want to it, just keep the stock stuff. Want to paint it? Pick up another set of tins, that way you'll always have the OG anniversary ones to go with the bike should you ever decide to sell. At the end of the day, it's your bike (hypothetically) and unless someone is buying the parts or making the payments, who cares what anyone else thinks?

 

You should have already been ordering parts.

 

Buy it and enjoy it, Harley's are not an appreciating asset, at least newer ones anyways.

Hope you enjoy it. I have #485 of 1450. It is a great ride. I added a compact windshield, hard side leather bags, pipes, intake and a tuner and really like the functionality with the shield and bags. Also added some additional chrome. Super Glides are somewhat nimble and quick. I don't think customizing matters....like everyone says make it yours!
