I just took it for a test ride to the gym. I left the pad on first which made my handlebar reach cool, but put me too close to the foot controls. I took it off and my legs are perfect but it seems like I'm reaching for the bars a little.

I might try having someone modify the pad a little or just leave it. I have to put more miles on it. One thing is for certain, I don't slide back anymore. That drove me nuts.

Can you rotate the bars back so that the reach isn't as far?

No on the bars, they're Lucky Daves 12". There's no adjusting those.

Another option I have is to go with some further forward mids but I may have an issue with my fat cat pipes. The brake pedal may interfere.

I finally finished my seat I have been working on. Used an old badlander seat and added a little more foam then finally recovered with new vinyl.

Nice Job! The main seating profile looks remarkably like my Redtail rigid pan which I find both very supportive under throttle and comfortable on the highway...even with only a fraction of an inch of padding.

Swapped my seat with a "take off" from a new Low Rider and added the wider trim ring around the headlight. Being 5'6" the seat makes it easier for me to reach the rear brake without repositioning myself while riding. It's very comfortable too. I don't know why anyone would take it off in the first place but it's my gain so I'm not complaining.

Managed to cut it to sharp in my wife’s vehicle while going over a small creek bridge and managed to run the guard rail down the passenger side. I was picking up some stuff from the powder coater. Its going to be some expensive coating right there. FML

^^^If I ran a fairing I think that would be the one.
Today I put the dash back together and back on the tank. I just couldn't bring myself to break the seal on the gauges to change out the LED colors. I thought about getting different gauges all together but can't find any in the size for a LR, matching dual gauges, and that I liked. I really like some of the gauges that mount to the handlebars and have no issue with re-wiring the harness, but I can't find anything I like that would replace my dash. Mostly just found blanks and I feel like if I remove the gauges I would just want a smooth dash. I put in the digital load equalizer so that I can do flashers for escorts. Anyone need some passive load equalizers?
