Old thread, but I have been well pleased with 6R12 performance, and they continue to look great.
In the spark plug world, plugs designed for air cooled and water cooled are 2 different unique animals. If I had problems that for sure were plug related and not engine, I would consider heat ranges available and react accordingly, but even that without engine modifications are not very likely.
