Does anyone know when they are coming out with this sissy bar for dynas? It says soon but how long have they been saying "soon?"
I had this sissy bar for my sportster and it looked clean on there. Ive been looking around for one for the street bob but i havent found one i liked as much as i did w burly. The other ones have bulky mounts to the fender. I just took my woman out yesterday for the first time on the sb and it was awesome. But when i accelerated a lil faster i could feel her holding on to my jacket pretty damn tight. The sissy would give her much security needed.
I never got a reply on this post but if anyone else was interested burly brand now makes a sissy bar for dynas. lol. I received mine yesterday. the install on this one is pretty different. the back tail lights and license plate come into play on the dynas. So they have added a bracket to help with the issue. I haven't attempted to install it yet. The sportster was an easy clean install. I have a feeling this ones going to be more of a pain. I've tried looking up videos or pictures for a visual to see what it looks like but there is nothing out there.
Has anyone purchased this sissy bar and installed it? Advice/opinions and pictures would be great as well. It's a def a clean sissy bar though! Can't wait to put it on!
Here is what the burly brand tall sissy bar looks like for those who are interested in it. It provided brackets for the rear tail lights but its not a good solution i think. So i moved the license plate and tail lights for a cleaner look. Its a nice sissy bar, in my opinion.
Can you post a picture of the bracket? I'd like to see what that option looks like. On the Canadian version, the plate is on the back of the fender anyways, it's just the lights that would need to be moved, but I want to see what Burly has put together. I actually prefer the Lords of Gastown Lady Catcher, but I'm not up for drilling my fender to make it work on the Dyna.
