Quality is actually ok at first blush.

you can see the rubber backed mechanism that was causing the instability problems in the old bucket on the left.
swapped out the wires with the ghetto Tang lifting tool (hammered paper clip) see:https://www.hdforums.com/forum/sport...l#post14957434
all done....
wonder how long that axle nut cover has been missing?

had to polish the rear axle... was very nasty. the left spacer was rusty and bad, sanded and polished it and the axle to super shine.
off the lift and ready to go. there's enough room up under there for a 140 or 150. looks like the 19x3 wheel can support it too. (https://www.blogotive.com/wp-content...Tires-Size.pdf) next time maybe

I'm going to be buying tires mid-way through the season, front for sure and soon. Probably go with the same brand as you did. Seems to be a popular choice.

Really though, thanks for the pics, looks good....
T. (black is the new chrome)
took it out and did ~80 mile of white knuckling, gt502 are way more sticky and soft. the night dragons are good. not as sticky but, they will last longer, that's the problem with the gt502s they wear out quickly and are tempermental. there were about 5k miles on the set i just pulled. rear was squaring off, front was okay
compare sidewalls. night dragon front is more aggressive deeper sidewall more visible tread.
you know, chrome make it qualify as a new special edition..
*cough cough*
The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
housings:
xr1200 black signals
leds:
they are the standard style custom dynamics Moon Shinez (no longer made and hard to find). pretty sure they are illegal since they are all white all the time, even when blinking but, nobody cares. only time it mattered was during an inspection and i just put in stock amber bulbs to pass then took them back out and threw them off an overpass. (joking)
Dynamic ringz or knock-offs like the moons signals and others are what most folks use

the turn signal housings are suspended from older-style/big twin turn signal mounts because i'm running a touring bike master cylinder and clutch perch not stock controls.

those studs go up into the bottom of you stock master cylinder and clutch perch. (look at the bottom of your controls and and you will see the holes) they are held in and adjusted with:
3244 SCREW M8 X 1.25 X 12
looks like you already have that stuff laying around:
