Default Which Ohlins Do You Run and Why?

I'm about to pull the trigger on some new shocks. Before I invest in my setup I'm just curious what are other dyna riders running and why?

Subscribed. I would like to know, too. I am waiting for Ohlins to release chrome rears. Don't care for the black.

Budget-friendly, 13.5, 3.5" travel (biggest travel even compared to more expensive ones). I ride alone or with passenger, lots of twisties, pretty aggressive - works awesome

Blackline series. Does the trick. Has adjustment and its black to match my setup.

even the non adjustable ohlins are still great shocks.

piggyback if you plan to do longer rides with questionable pavement.

I wanted simple, slim, good all-round performance, near-stock ride height and max stroke. Howard suggested Ohlins HD773.
He built me his #2-#3, Blackline, separated (non-emulsion). 13" with 3.6" stroke.

This is what I'm leaning towards.

Howard said they're shocks for touring frames but he would spring and valve them for a light Dyna. I paid something like $670.

13-1/4" Ohlins Blackline Piggyback. 96mm stroke (3.8"). Also from Howard.

Went with the Piggyback for the stroke and as MI roads suck.

I chose the 13.5 inch piggyback model with the hydraulic preload adjuster. I got these before the blackline was out but I think I would have got these one anyway. I wanted the extra travel in the rear and I wanted to raise the rear ride height a bit to change the geometry a bit to make the bike a little quicker in transition. I also had to have the hydraulic preload adjuster because I'll ride two up at times and wanted to be able to adjust the preload accordingly with no tools.

I’m running 2-#2b from Motorcycle metal... only have about 300 miles but they feel great on my 07 FLHTC.
