During my search there were only 2 other posts here about gremlin bells, but this one is coming from a different angle. I doubt any of us here get them in favor of superstition, but if there are those who believe in superstition I wont spoil your beliefs and wont get into the whole Santa Claus thing . I’m sure most of us have them for no other reason than TRADITION. Since there are literally 1,000s of designs, lets see which one you’re sporting. Also include who got it for you, or if you got it for yourself. For me it was a toss up between the rosary and the cross, my wife got me the cross.
I had no idea these existed and had to google it to figure out what it was. Kind of cool. I have gone my entire life without benefitting, so don't think I'll start now though.
Hey you can say what you want about Gremlin bells not working, but when I bought my Ultra Classic back in August it didn't have a bell on it.
Buddy of mine said that you can't buy your own bell it has to be a gift, so he said he was going to get me a bell. Couple weeks later we are on a ride and stopped at a legion post out in the country side. He remembered he had picked up a bell for me and handed me the bell. I tossed it in the tour pack. Went to leave the legion post and as I started to pull out a car was coming up quick. Hit the front brake with the handlebars turned and down when the bike.
Having the gremlin bell in the tour pack doesn't work, it has to be mounted low to scare the gremlins away.
I don’t need a gremlin bell. I have a Ugggly Booogly that was given to me by @mud about 12 years ago. It not only deters gremlins but if they even gets close, it’ll kick the **** of em.
The bike I recently bought will be the 4th one it’s been on.
I have a bell because my mom got it for me. I have another from my wife. I say a prayer EVERY time I throw a leg over. The bell from my mom just looks cool.
