Default 2002 Road King mod recommendations

Hi everyone, I just purchased a 2002 carb Road King in decent shape. The previous owner had it serviced at a Harley shop and it passed inspection recently at my mechanics indie shop. I test rode the bike and it rode fine.

Previous owner had the cam upgraded to a 203 SE and he had the cam tensioner springs replaced with the hydro kit.
So with those things already taken care of, one of the first mods I was looking at was a big bore kit. Is there any particular brand of big bore kit and size that would work well with the existing 203 cam or should I figure the existing cam would most likely need to be changed out to match up with a 95 kit? And would I want to go above a 95 inch kit in the first place? Recommendations on best size kit and decent brand for TC 88 carb would be a great help.

The other item I'd like to change is the wheels. I don't like spokes and would rather have mags. Any info on mags of the same year?

Appreciate any recommendations and any other mod suggestions would be very much welcomed too.

We have HDF sponsors who offer well proven engine upgrades, including Hillside and Fuel Moto, possibly others, so check them out via the Sponsors directory. As for wheels any of the stock cast touring wheels up to 2007 will swap over directly, later ones with a little extra effort.

I bought a 2003 Heritage new, and I put a Harley big bore kit (95ci) on it (#29775-02A, currently #29775-02C).

The big bore kit came with SE203 cams, but I forget what pistons/compression.... My bike is an FI bike, but even with the HD download tune (known to be lean) it ran very well with those cams... I later put a DynoJet tune on it, and it ran even better....

I currently have a 2001 RK with a carb. I added the 203 cams, a Mikuni 42 carb and true duals (for the look and sound). Folks I've spoken with tell me I would have better performance with a 2 into 1 exhaust. It pulls like a train. Quick throttle response and even at 65 mph if I crack the throttle it'll pull away just fine. For my style of riding I can't justify the 95" and this is a very reliable set up.
