Hi all, as the title suggests, I'm looking into adding a big bore kit to my RK over the winter. Right now, I'm looking at options and working up a projected budget.
I was looking at the S & S 103" kit, but wasn't sure what all I would need. Obviously, pistons and heads to start, along with all the associated hardware and seals, etc. I'm thinking a new cam should be on the list as well. Anything else? Not looking to go totally nuts on the upgrade, just looking for more horsepower.
My current setup is a stock motor (88), K&N air filter, stock headers with Python slipons, and a stage 1 tune on the ECM.
I would appreciate any suggestions you guys might have. Thanks!
The largest S&S kit I'm aware of for the TC88 without having to machine/bore the cases is their 97" kit ( the description of the 97 kit says pretty much that). They have a 103 hop up kit but that assumes you have already stroked the TC 88. Do some research and talk to local builders

Check out the FuelMoto Kit. Everything you need. Although you might talk to them about what a ugraded throttle body/injectors might do to even add more go. You will also need a EFI management gadget, like a PowerVision or some such, and a decent exhaust system to get the flow right. They got 101hp/112tq with this build using a PC3 and Rinehart True Duals.
