Keihin vs S&S Super e Accelerator Pump Diaphragm size
Does anyone know if the accelerator pump diaphragms are interchangeable between a Keihin butterfly 1970's-1980's vs S&S super e? I searched and didn't see a thread.
Word of advice - I don't know the cost of Genuine S&S pump but the OEM Harley at dealer is about $20 and is way heavier and better material than aftermarket.
Don't complicate the simple. Keihin parts fit Keihim carbs and S&S parts fit S&S carbs. There is no cross reference chart because they DO NOT INTERCHANGE.

Actually when you search for Super E diaphragm pumps on Napa it gives you a Keihin part number.
I've had both diaphragms side by side, the only difference was a slight variation in material. Whether they were the original diaphragms to the pumps, I don't know.
Interesting...so it looks like they are interchangeable. The whole reason for asking was because my super e accelerator pump diaphragm was a little crusty but I have a good one from my extra Keihin butterfly carb rebuild kit and wondered if they are the same. I guess when I open up my S&S carb, I'll compare side by side and see. I just didn't want to have to order one if I already have one that's technically the same. We shall see...
