Default ??Removing a harness from Police RK

This harness must have been for all police equipment so needs to go.
Not sure how to get it out.
Do I need to remove the gas tank to fish it out? It goes down under the seat bracket then disappears.
What do I need to remove to get it out?

The harness goes under the seat mount and my best guess is that it then goes under the gas tank. Can't tell for sure
In the pic, there are the two cable bundles going under the bracket for the seat.

It's not connected to anything any more. The plug that went into the harness was removed so it has no function any more. It must have been for all the electronics in the tour pak.

Here's the dangling end under the seat. Just looking to clean things up and remove them if there is no use for the wires.

I was gonna say just cut that piece that's shown in the picture and you won't see anything anymore. BUT to be honest, if it was my bike, it would probably bother me and I'd wanna remove it completely as well, lol.

Can’t you just visually look where it goes, see what needs to be removed and go from there? Or, as mentioned, just cut it and tuck it out of the way. It looks like you’ve already started cutting wires.

All of the wires that are cut were done by the dealer. I'm just trying to trace what's left and eliminate what I don't need or cannot use.

I can see where it goes up under the seat bracket and above a metal plate but the best I can tell is that it then goes under the gas tank but I can't actually see it.
I guess I'll have to pull the tank to get it out. That might be the clincher whether I just leave it. Not sure how difficult it is to pull the tank but I don't need any extra work right now.
