Default Flat out bar highway pegs

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for recommendations on what is currently out there for highway peg kits that can mount to the flat out bars. I have the tall boys floorboard relocation kit so I'm not sure if the frame mount ones would work. I like the idea of the bar mount so there is nothing on the bottom side that could catch in a curve.

Thank you.

Pricey but I liked them enough to install on the 24 FLHTP I recently bought. Also bought their Chicane pegs.
I just didn't want engine guard mounted pegs anymore knowing that they'll eventually wear on the finish and rust over time.

I did a Proof-of-Concept experiment creatively articulating the HD Long Angled Adjustable Highway Peg Mount Kit that I had on my other bike.

Basically, clamping to the horizontal Flat-out Bar then angling down then out.

It sort-of worked as a work around but it also looked a little goofy.

Since you mentioned the tall boys floorboard relocation kit, you probably have longer inseam, and it might be ok for you.

I just went with the Ciro 3d Frame mounted and I love them.

You might give Ciro 3d a call with your question about tall boys floorboard relocation kit.

When I called, the guy I talked to was very knowledgeable about compatibility with different configurations.

Default Ciro is a no-go

I checked with Ciro and the frame mount pegs will not work with the tall boys floorboard relocation kit.

Shame, they are great.
When I was looking for highway pegs, Ciro didnt have the frame mount ones in stock, so I ordered these on amazon in the meantime:
Amazon Amazon
.

Yes, they are chinese, yes They are kind of cheap, but i made them work. As they have two joints. They didnt look perfect, but they didnt look bad. It was just a matter of finding the right angle to make them work. The quality is OK, never had problems with them, and you can change the pegs for better ones, even though I found the ones included just fine.

Unfortunately, I just have crappy pictures, but hope this helps finding a solution

Looks like an interesting solution.

I'm trying to figure out what that gizmo is on the top of the mounting clamp is?
