My app is a 2022 ultra limited. I've watched a few vids online and it seems to me there is always trouble removing and installing the new engine. Any M8 guru's out there who know of a better way? My guess would be the pins are hard to line up on install, with the trans floating? Should i take out the trans with the old engine?

 

I've paid 12 hours of labor to my dealer to do the swap and install SE clutch, just wanted to keep the warranty. From what I've seen it's pretty straightforward and I wouldn't try to pull engine with transmission. I think it'd be much easier to align the pins than remove the swing arm and increased weight of the whole assembly that you'd have to deal with.
