2013 Road King, Engine and Battery Light on with Codes
First ride of the year tonight and both the Check Engine Light and the Battery Light came on right away. They stayed on for a good 15 - 20 minutes and then went out. The bike ran fine.
When I got home, I checked for codes and got these:
P0562 - Battery voltage high/low
P1510 - Throttle actuator control limited performance
P2122 - Twist grip position sensor 1 low/open
P2138 - Twist grip position sensor correlation error
Has anyone experienced this before?

You had this issue last year. There were two suggestions, but you never responded.

I checked the wires/connection at the throttle actuator - no issues found. Checked plug wires - no issues found. Wiggled the wires in the headlight nacelle, hoping to get the twist grip sensor wires - no issues found.
Can't remember if the Battery Light came on last year. Wonder if it could be something with the voltage regulator. I think I saw a post about voltage regulator recall in 2012 or 13.
"First ride of the year"... Has the battery been on a maintainer? Have you checked charging voltage? How "peppy" was the starter when it began cranking the engine? Did the lights dim noticeably when you pressed the start button? How old is the battery?
That the lights went out, SUGGESTS the bike's systems are healthy, but the battery and/or its connections need to be checked-as a minimum. Having the battery load checked would also be a good idea. You can delete the codes, then see if they repeat on the next ride.
