Looking for some help with a 2000 Road King with MM efi
So long story short the bikes is a 2000 Road King Classic injected, just under 31k miles. It sat for a long time, previous owner went through the tank new fuel pump new lines new injectors. Never would idle right. I have tried adjusting things and I feel like it helped but I’m having a hard time getting correct info. As of now I can get it to idle pretty good when it’s hot but cold starts are rough and cold idle is all over the place.
1. When I’m setting my TPS voltage I understand nothing should be effecting throttle. My question is what is the proper way to ensure the IAC isn’t touching the throttle. Also should this adjustment be done cold or hot?
2. What I have seen on here says .195v, not .275v Anyone confirm?
Is there any other information anyone can think of that may help me? I bought this bike relatively cheap and don’t really want to sink a lot of money into it. I would like to make this MM system function but if not I may just convert to carburetor. Most of my experience is with fuel injected cars but this thing seems to be getting the better of me.
