on paper (pun intended) this fix should stick..but I'll be riding around locally for a couple days before venturing to the coast or over the mountains pass .. it owes me a confidence boost

The Work Resolution following the Diagnostics from the Manual would certainly be expected!
However, testing the Resistance between connectors seems like it would be a tedious task to chase down a bad connection but it's what needed to be done!
