I think I've suffered long enough. Bought my 2014 Tri Glide new. Never was comfortable on the original seat. I do upholstery occasionally and I've stitched-up different add-on "pads" to try and make the seat more comfortable, but nothing really helps those all-day rides. The stock seat is a ball-buster the way it curves up over the back of the tank. It's like I'm sitting in a Venus flytrap and my package is the target.
Has anyone (that felt the way I do) found an after-market Tri Glide seat that is actually comfortable? If so PLEASE let me know.

The HD "Road sofa" Zeppelin seat. It has air bladders for both rider & passenger.
So you adjust how you prefer the comfort.
Another popular seat is the HD Hammock seat- also very favorable.
But many also have great luck with aftermarket from "Mustang" or "Saddleman" ....or brand/company "XYZ".
Every butt is different and we all like what we like, so you'll get many opinions.
Go to the dealer as they have demo seats to try.
Which may come back to the Zeppelin HD seat. Again- YOU can adjust how you like the feel.
Good luck!

I had a Hammock seat that I used on 2 different Road Glides, great seat. I have the Harley tall boy seat on my Tri-Glide and it's fine also. The hammock is probably the most comfortable seat I've ever had and it has heat as an option, you can get it either way..
I have ridden 100,000 miles on my Ultimate seat. Stlll holds its shape and support as if it was new. Very well built and when I purchased mine they had a policy of letting you return it within 14 days for full refund.
On both Ultimate and Mustang it took a good 1000 miles to break in to your ***. That is why I got such a good deal on the Ultimate, the guy put 500 miles or less on it and said it was way too hard.his loss, my gain. The Mustang wide tour I bought new. I put close to 75000 miles on the bi,e and I sold it to my maintenance guy at work and he has now 25000 more miles and both his wife and him love the seat.
