Default SE 122 Solo Touring Build

Here it is as of today with about 1200 miles on the bike including the new parts.

The SE 122 upgrade was selected as a sweet spot for reliability, economy, performance, and warranty compliance. I used all Harley parts, dealer installed.
There is a huge gain in Power and Torque over stock. The Stage III engine kit delivered more power than was claimed in the catalog. I'm very happy with it (dynamometer results below). It just runs great and is fun to ride.

Here's the performance shown in the SE catalog:

Here is what the dynamometer says for my bike. Run in fourth gear until reaching the speed limiter.

I digitized the catalog and dyno-chart and plotted the comparisons shown below:

Of all the mods on the bike, I have found these to be highly appreciated:

1. taller windshield
2. extended reach seat
3. adjustable rear brake arm
4. heated grips
5. adjustable upper clutch cable
6. forward mounted tourpak with backrest
7. upgraded rear shocks
8. water bottle holders
9. additional engine performance
10. fitted travel packs for saddlebags and tourpak

I've attached a list of everything on the bike with suppliers & part numbers. Any questions? Any suggestions? Please reply.

It'll be a noticeable upgrade. Have to admit the Stock brakes are very good.
Keep us informed.

NIce list and thanks....
Tell me about the Tour Pack rack.
Can it be moved back for a Pillion, or does it take a different rack?
Is it the quick detachable?
What's the source, Factory?

Thanks, Mike

I did few similar mods as well as performance. In addition, since you've asked for suggestion here are few more that I have
Stealth charging port
Mid-frame deflectors
Chassis fan (makes a difference)
Light bar on TP and on the rack
Lowers with fog lights
Mocardine hand guards with sequential lights

Once you've been there, you can't go back..

NOTES:

Service for these parts is recommended every approximately 18,600 miles (30,000 km) or 3 years.

same with their shocks...that'd be annually for me .. Might be worth it if I was racing these bikes, and sponsored

It is the solo rack from H-D for a Tourpak. I had to do some mods to get it far enough forward.
The two-up rack would have to be installed for a passenger.
It is quick detachable.
