Yes, It's a buyers market
He has found a few that he has shared with me and asked my opinion on.
He also considered a new bike, but does not like all the electronics. I fully understand that.
So he set his sights on a 21, 22 or 23 old style with 114, it had to be a Road Glide mainly because all his friends have gone to one, and he wanted black or the dark blue black combination.
Much to my surprise he found this red and black and started calling me. He has never had one with a cam, didn't understand the cam installation process and has never owned a bike with premium suspension.
Long story short he found this 2021 Road Glide Special.
One owner-
13k miles-
Ohlins Suspension front & rear-
Mustang heated seat-
Color matched removable tour pack-
color matched chin spoiler-
Reinhart exhaust-
handle bars-
heated grips-
S&S 475 cam and canned tune-
We discussed the 475 cam a lot as he is like me a 3500 rpm and below 2-up cruiser.
He bought it drectly from the owner for $18k.
He is On cloud 9, and I think he got a pretty sweet deal.

When I got a tour pac for my 2015 RGS, it freaked me out how far the lid opened. Sometimes I bungee things on the lid rack and it seemed to stress the hinge side and the ratcheting strap.
I took the end apart that attaches to the base and shortened up the strap so it opened enough to stay open while on the side stand.

I suppose I didn’t do too bad when I sold my 2024 SG for a chunk more than that. I’d value the pastor’s bike higher than my 24.

I now longer get tempted. I have finally arrived at that point where I really like what I have.
I know for sure I would hate to have to sell either of my bikes today.

I know what you mean about learning to like what you've got. I remember when I thought life would be groovy if I just got a bike with an electric starter on it. Now I'm puttering around on my little 114 wishing it was a 135, but having to tell myself that the 114 will get me a ticket just a quick.
For the most part on the Geezer Glide I'm trying to stick to comfort mods with the occasional chrome doodad here and there. Also still holding out in the back of my mind that I'd like to rebuild the Shovelhead before I'm too old to jam on it like I used too.
The first world trials are truly terrifying.
The handlebar in the first Pic has me giggling though. I don't like a ton of electronics either, but I wouldn't saw off the left side of the handlebar to get rid of half of them
