New bike (2010 Electra glide standard) no 02 sensors
Hey everyone, been a long while. Here goes. Just bought a 2010 Electra glide standard it has a 2-1 aftermarket exhaust and an after market air filter. Went for a ride not running to great it has no o2 sensors or tuner in my mind these are essential.
The bike came with o2 sensors. They may have loaded a map into it. No way of knowing. Is there bungs in the exhaust? Do see the wires for sensor taped back somewhere? I think you can unplug sensor from harness. Hopefully they harness is there and they did not cut off
Look at shop manual to figure where the sensors go to in case you have to replace wires too.
Or you look into tuning without sensors. Probably lots of discussion on that
Hey rounders, there are two holes for the 02 sensors bunged currently, the plugs where they should connect appear to have a plug on I assume the loop out the sensor some how? That being said with the after market bits and no tuner I assume it’s just fuelling as it should when it’s stock hence it being a bit grumpy smells a bit fuel rich.
Don't some aftermarket tuners work without oxygen sensor and basically run open loop with the aftermarket tuner mapped from idle to wide open throttle like the bikes did before oxygen sensors were forced on Harley in 2006 and 2007.
How my stock 2004 Softail works.
You bike probably had a piggy back one running the OEM one and some jerk pulled it to sell before selling the bike.

You should contact some companies and ask about tuning with no o2.
Some sell a bette o2 sensor to get better data. I am guessing no way to talk to last owner.
I would do something one way or other. Maybe the guy was smart enough to tune. But if he was smart enough to get it done, why remove them? Especially if the pipe has bungs for them but every one has theories on what is best
