Ok people. I am looking at purchasing a 2009 Road glide CVO 18" front rim and tire with brake rotors. This to replace my stock 16" front rim and tire.
I do not have ABS and am not sure if the CVO does or does not have abs bearings. So, going to change out the bearing no matter what.
I would like to swap this onto my 2008 ultra classic.
I have done some researching and can't find a 100% if it will fit and what needs to be changed if anything. I can find many older bikes that have had this done, but not the 08 ultra.
Seems as though the 08 models of my bike are a little different. Old and new parts mixed.
Can someone help me and tell what all needs to be done.
Thank you

It will fit but you may need to respace the wheel. Possibly use the spacers from a non ABS 09 wheel. The fork lowers are the same. I've installed like and 09-up 18 in street glide airstrike wheels on both a 07 egc and 02 rkc. but really don't remember what I had to do to get them to work.. The critical thing is that disk rotors don't need spacing.
@multihdrdr knows the details for most wheel changes. This will ping him.

So, I can use my axle and spacers correct?

Correct
Make sure you install the first new bearing on the Left side of the wheel. That would be after determining which is the Left side of a wheel, but those CVO wheels have a directional curve to the spokes, so that should be easy
