i like the old school look of wrapped exhaust. just curious about how it looks. also does the wrap protect you at all vs the heat shield? although the heat shield can scald you anyway.

 

My Sikpipes are wrapped, I love them. No heat shields, so they get pretty hot after sitting in traffic a while. I've never touched them hot, but they do cool off pretty quick

 

Not a breakout...but I love my pipe wrap. Evo with short shots. Wouldnt touch it when hot though.

 

The wraps definitely get hotter than the shields bro. I ran wraps this entire past season and just went back to shields.

The wraps are cool looking and I even put my feet on them while ridding cause I didn't have to worry about ruinning them. But after one ride with the shields back on I can tell ya that the shields are cooler.
