Default Gas stain...

So when I put my tank back on after running new cables I must have messed up the seal under the spedo and fuel pump causing a small gas run down my tank. Didn't see it for a while and now I have a stain. Does anyone have suggestions to clean it up before I end up repainting??? Brand new bike with 2k miles and I do like the charcoal satin color so I would prefer not to repaint it yet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Probably just stained the clear coat. I suspect that a detailer can buff that out.

Cut and buff it as stated above, it will look like new.

You could try Kit car wax. It's a cleaner wax and with a little patience it will remove a lot of imperfections. Just apply it and continue to rub with the pad, using light to moderate pressure. Keep a lot of wax on the applicator when doing this. Also make sure the area is completely clean before doing this. You dont want to scratch anything..
