Last week I was undecided between a,
Breakout
Softail Slim
Deluxe.
Going with the Deluxe and need opinions on slip-on muffs.
I've always gone full systems in the past but have been told Harley Chrome and quality of their heat shields can't be beat so just get slip ons.

Any and all opinions appreciated.

 

I put SE slipons on my old fxdl and they were great. They were on there 10 yrs and are probably still there.

 

I am happy with my Rush mufflers with the 1.75 baffles. They perform well and are good quality. There is a reason they are so popular. If you want louder you can go with the 2.0 baffles. Since the cats are in the mufflers on Softails even the 1.75 bafflers are loud enough for most people.

 

2" rush. I had them on my old deluxe and they were great.

 

I didn't know the Cat's are in the mufflers. Now I'm going with just the slip-ons.
Probably the Rush. Heard nothing but good things.
