I have been using Dyna beads for years. Never had any issues. Always check pressure with valve in 6 o'clock position.

Rim looks better with no ugly weights stuck to it.

My thoughts on 12:00 position for the valve was the beads would fall to the bottom of the rim. Not thinking they would fall into the valve. I figured they would get sucked into the valve at the 6:00 position. Guess I over thunked it.

RI AGREE WITH THE 12:OO, OR 9 OP 3 - - every time I check my pressure at the 6:00 position, all the air comes out of the tire as soon as I put the pressure gage on the stem. I just assume that the beads are at the bottom of the tire and cause the problem, What is wrong with my thinking, and what is causing the problem when at 6:00 ?
Thanks

Perhaps I'll throw some in.
When I had the original wheel on the front, with a tube, the Dyna Beads worked fine in it.

Ok, so I still don't have an answer as to best position of the valve.

I don't have the filter valve cores that I posted, and have checked tire pressure with the valve in just about every position, and not had any problem at all.

I would not use the valve stems posted above with spoked wheels. When I made the switch to Dyna Beads I put those in and as soon as my front tire heated up and opened the valve and let all the air out going down the freeway from the heat pressure bulding up. Switched them back to the stock valves which fixed the problem and road 360 miles the next day. I can't speak for mags, but the tubes trap heat more than mag wheels and no tubes.

I have get stuck every now and then, but just put air in and it will clear them.

instead of the 12:00 position, try 4:00 or 8:00. i believe that's the recomended position that came with the beads i use. good luck.

Good example of a time to use nitrogen
