Default I did it!!!

Closed the deal on Fat Boy SE 2006 Autum Haze Abyss Blue yesterday. ETA first week of Oct. Just broke the news to the wife. She went upstairs without a word. We'll see what tomorrow brings. Anyway I want to put V&H Pro HS exaust system on. Tech manager wasn't available yesterday to give me advice. I read some threads about exhaust restrictions for 2006 modifications. Anyone with more detailed info would be appreciated. Will post pics as soon as I pull it in the garage. I have read many post since joining, and just want to say that 99.9% of you guys & gals have been great. Good people out there. God Bless.

Howdy Bobby, welcome to the world of Harley. Congrats on the new SE FB. It sounds awesome. I've seen an SE FB in our local dealership and I really liked the looks of it. Enjoy the ride.

p.s. are you having a hard time sleeping thinking about your new FB? hehe

Wow...that sounds like it's going to be one sick bike.

Go make the wife feel better by doing something nice for her - you'll feel even better about the bike if she's feeling better about it.

Talk to her, Bobby. She'll come around. Make her understand what we all know and love. It's just a different kind of love. That's all. Just don't let the F B get jealous or anything.

Congrats on the bike. However, you really need to do something to make Mama happy. Just remember: When Mama's happy, everyone's happy.
I hope that she comes around and let's you enjoy the bike. My wife could care less about cars or bikes, so I bought her one, too. She took the MSF course and got her license. Now she feels like part of the crowd.

Congrats on the SE FB,

My bro is getting one in Oct. as well. Please keep me posted about your mods and such and I will do the same.
FYI, I just bought a SE Deuce about two weeks ago. I wanted a Deuce and a SE so I got an 03 with 4000 miles.

ride safe and keep the shinny side up.

Just saw that bike at the dealer the other day, Sweet. Aw she'll come around. I bought my 04 sporty after just talking that I wanted a Harley and then 9 mo. layter I traded it in on an 05 Deluxe after seeing on the floor calling my name, while she was at work. And she still married me.[sm=kissykissy.gif]

That really makes me appreciate my wife's attitude. When I ordered my chopper two years ago, I asked if she worried about my getting a motorcycle and she said "not at all!" Then when I sold the chopper she was furios! She said she thought we really connected when we rode. Why didn't I sell the '72 Chevy shortbed or the '63 Continental? (Because they are paid for and I love them) She thought the Deluxe was an old man's bike! When she first rode with me, she decided that it wasn't so bad after all. Now she gets mad when I make her wear a helmet!
