I've always liked chrome when it comes to motorcycles as well. I've never really got into the blacked out deal but this contrast cut is really starting to intrigue me. I've seen a lot of the contrast stuff by PM lately and some of it looks pretty awesome. I like the horn cover, came cover, transmission pieces and even some of the wheels.
Lionsm13, go on and git u sum!
Machiavellli, that is one nice softtail in the corral, 2003 H.D. 100th Anniversary Deuce FXSTDI? I still have some chrome blazin' on my bike, but the contrast cut stuff is accentuating quite well! H.D., P.M., Arlen Ness, Roland Sands, Joker, Kurkyan..they are all on the contrast cut mods band wagon.
Its weekend mode Boyz, "get on that bad motor scooter and ride...."
I have a Night Train in that same color; I like the contrast cut on certain bikes but I feel that that color needs more black to make it stand out. Just my $0.02. Nonetheless, it looks good on your bike, but I wasn't sure about mine so I went another direction.
i like them too, and have the shift linkage on my dyna, but they are a little pricey, so i bought all 4 pegs from china for 80 bucks
Everything from HD is pricey....even just a t-shirt! Wow, $80!! Were they worth it? I have HD and Arlen ness and both are rather pricey also, but well worth it!
Its getting really cold down here in Texas, 65 degrees ...burrrrr....
Looks nice - I have been going toward "the dark side" as well and adding on some contrast cut pieces. latest is the PM wheels. dang they are so well made I have ZERO balance weights on the wheels they were 100% true on the roadforce balancer. Well, the Pirelli Diablo meats helped too - perfectly balanced and light weight tires
