Anyone purchase from Thunderbike?
I am looking to buy the low speedo mounts for my Breakout and was looking to see if anyone has purchased anything in the past, or specifically, has bought the short risers for the Breakout. Its either these or the CVO riser's but I'd rather just get the shorter ( and cheeper ) option. Whats the wait time from Europe, and how does the euro-exchange $$$ thing work?? This would be a lot easier if I could run down to my local dealership and check these things out. Thanks for any help guys.
I've purchased numerous items from Thunderbike to include their 23" front fender, rear fender with LED brake and turn signals, seat pan with upholstering, chin spoiler, Rizoma Dynamic mirrors,Panhead signals, Vrod headlight bracket and the flat top risers you mentioned. Let me reassure you their products reinforce the quality behind German engineering as the product they put out is top notch! The shipping from Germany to Arizona takes approximately 2 weeks. With the current exchange rate, expect to pay a 10% premium. I checkout through their cart and in the notes put "please sent PayPal payment request to (my paypal I.D.)". Nico at Thunderbike is real easy to deal with and will respond promptly to any questions, although you have the German time difference so replies take a day. Here are a couple of pics of the handlebars I just got back together with the flat top risers. I'm in the middle of doing an extensive build on my Breakout right now, so keep an eye out as I will be starting a build thread that includes all of the aforementioned Thunderbike parts. Ignore the stock Harley headlight with the Vrod fairing as I'm missing the two bolts I need to mount the light to the fairing. If you anymore questions feel free to ask. Also, Nostradamus74 has an extremely nice build which include many Thunderbike parts, and he is very helpful!

Sorry for crappy photo and pic, but I'm trying to upload photo's from my iPad and it's not cooperating. I'll correct and add the photo's tomorrow and take off the headlight fairing so you can get a good look at the flat top risers.
That was the response I was hoping for. Planing to get the risers and a set of Todd's 10" Strip Bars, I'm only 5'8" so I think the 12"ers my be just a bit too high. I really don't want to be over my shoulders. I'll try to remember to take some mid-project pics to document the process. Now about those directionals.......... I'm open to suggestions.
I also purchased some parts from Thunderbike. I did have some issues with their website and the order process. When I placed the order I was never redirected to a page that allowed me to make a payment. I had to exchange a couple of emails in order to get them to invoice me through PayPal. Other than that, I was totally satisfied. Would not hesitate to order from them in the future.
Their wheels are freaking off the hook !!!! I'd love to rock them on my rocker. So damn procey though man.
But in this industry you get what you pay for.

I couldn't agree more with that statement Alain. I have a set of RSD Domino Contrast Cut Wheels 23" & 18x18.5 that should be ready in about 4 weeks. I almost went with the Thunderbike Spoke or Vegas wheels, but the Domino's were a cost saving measure LOL..., as I've been flying through money for my build and also planning and researching a 107" engine build.
Skip, it says a lot about thunder bike's prices when buying a set of RSD wheels is actually the cheaper route hahahha.
Quality on both products is top notch though. And I've learned the hard way that it pays to spend a little more coin on a reputable brand instead of trying to go cheap and having to address issues down the road.
