Default Quarter fairing help

Heys guys I have a 05 nt with 41mm on it. It has bullet style headlight on it now. I want to do the quarter fairing with smaller headlight as the bullet is to long for fairing. Anyway is oem headlight a good candidate for this or any other ideas. Staying 5 3/4 size. Now for the real issue having trouble with fairing for the 41mm only brackets I have found are supeer pricey. Anyone modified 39mm. I am handy enough to mod brackets. also were does it mount top of tree, under ?. thanks for any help on this. Hope I can get it done because I love the look of it.

I can't help much with the 41mm thing. I had a Memphis Shades Gauntlet on my Dyna with 49mm forks. Their quick release clamps worked really well. They clamp to the tubes between the trees. I had a stock headlight, but the headlight didn't stick out forward as far as the fairing. The solution was the Arlen Ness headlight relocation bracket. It only cost about $20, but the Memphis Shades clamps were about $140.
