Default Headlight relocation for Ness Fairing?

Hey All, for those that have mounted the Ness fairing to a 2006 Streetbob, did you need to use a headlight relocation mount? I have received my fairing and just looking at it it appears a) to need the light moved forward and b) the hole for the headlight is a greater diameter that the headlight and leaves a gap. Just wondering if I should get the bracket and if the gap is normal? Thanks.

I moved my headlight up about 1"1/2 and about 1/2" out.

Ness makes a bracket to do exactly this.

Thanks for the info, I am going to order the ness relocation bracket. Any feedback on the diameter of the headlight versus the diameter of the fairing opening?
