Just love the 2016 Heritage
I'm so confused and very difficult person to decide something I must admit this.
I had put a deposit on a 2016 Softail Slim S the other week. In the meantime while waiting for the delivery I came across the White and Teal 2016 Heritage and I think I like it more than the FLSS..
Talked to the dealer and agreed to change the order to a Heritage if needed.
I would like to hear from you guys what do you think about this. I like both bikes the same and planning to do some two up riding in the near future with the wifey.
I'm 5 ft 7 in
I know the Slim fits me best but I think the Heritage will fit too as I never sat on a Heritage.
Any suggestions on what would you do if it was you deciding 😊

I am also 5'7" and ride a Heritage .We ride 2 up most of the time and have traveled all over the S E . U.S. , I don,t think I could have gotten a better fit for me. By the way that teal and white bike is very sharp looking.

I own a Slim S and love it. It fits me and my riding style perfectly. The bike is really really good..........at what I want it to do.
Your decision needs to be based on what you want your bike to do.
From what you described, you should buy a Heritage. It comes ready to travel; the Slim has no passenger accommodations, windshield or bags. The expense of these things would still not make a Slim do what the Heritage does well.
The bottom line is that the Slim is a classic stripped down bobber style bike that's better suited for solo riding. It's certainly capable of two-up and touring, but it doesn't come that way.
The Heritage is made to carry a passenger and luggage, and look nostalgic in the process.
