Default 03 Fatboy carb issues

Didn't ride much last year and couldn't get bike to run. Purchased the CV Performance carb kit and installed with no issues. Motor cranked right up but after warm up, began to run rich and mixture adjustment had no effect. Installed smaller pilot jet, new float needle valve, and adjusted float level to HD specs. Problem continued. Installed even smaller pilot jets from CV and, while problem is better, still runs too rich with mixture screw turned in completely. I have Rinehart exhaust and Screaming Eagle intake. Right now, I have 185 main and 42 pilot jets but problem has been similar with several variations of jets. Ideas?

My first thought is to check your enrichener and be certain it's closing all the way; sounds like it's stuck open.

Edited to add: Welcome to HDForums!

Thanks. Enricher appears to be working perfectly.

Then check your float adjustment. Hope you have instructions to set the float height as it is critical.

I would check the float. The plunger that seals off the fuel flow when the float bowl is full could be worn or dirty and not sealing properly thus letting through to much fuel. I would check this before trying to adjust the float height. It's very easy and cheap to change. If this is sealing perfectly then check and adjust the float level, assaid before its critical to be set correct. Hope this helps you out.
