Sold my Ultra. Looking at the 2016 Heritage. The Crushed Ice and Teal color looks nice. I like the OLD SCHOOL styling.
I was wondering how long it would take for HD to build a Softail with cruise. THE CVO Convertible had cruise.
I also like the fact that it has less studs on it this year.
Anyone here own one? Did you upgrade from an older model or change models completely?
High Output 103. Cruise. New seat. New Saddlebags. Less studs.
What would/did you do first? Exhaust and Air Filter?
or just ride?
How do you like yours?
The Ultra was nice, but found I didn't need all the bells and whistles.
I ended up turning it into a Street Glide look a like.
Let me know what you think about it!
Thanks,

I think you will enjoy the new Heritage, I'm very critical of HD at times but have to admit I think they really got this model right, the changes made were exactly what this bike needed. I took an of the showroom bike and made several changes to make it mine, spring can't come soon enough!!

I see you've explored my post on the accessories I had the dealer install.
Wish I could give you a review on riding the 2016 FLSTC.
I live in the mid west and the weather has prevented me from finding out.
However there is zero doubt in my mind I'm going to love it.

A few months ago I was able to test ride a 2016 and frankly it didn't seem to ride or respond much different than my 2009.
Matter of fact I think my 09 with the 96ci had more power and throttle response and rides smoother, but I have do have a stage 1 with a tuner installed and upgraded shocks and seat.

I think the biggest update is the cruise.
The less studs are a personal choice, I could take them or leave them.

Anyway the 2016 changes weren't enough for me to trade in my paid off 2009 however if I was to buy a new Harley it would be a Heritage.

I own an '08 Heritage and, love it. If I had the money to buy a new bike, a '16 Heritage is what I'd get. I just prefer the way you sit 'in' a softail, instead of, 'on' it. JMHO of course.
