Default Tri-bar for pre 2006?

Hello everyone, I tried a search on this topic but couldn't really nail a good search term. I recently had a swing arm mounted plate added to my softail. In doing so I wanted to eliminate the stock tail light as it looked gawdy and there is a brake light built into the new license plate mount.

It looks 10x better without the stock brake like but not I have this hideous empty spot between the fender and tire. Looks bad from the side and even more terrible from behind. I researched the possibility of lowering the bike to at least make up the space noticeable from the side. Problem is from what I hear anything more then 1.5" could interfere with having a passenger.

Someone even commented saying the lowering kit makes the bike look less like a dirt bike and ever since I heard that suggestion I get sick when I look at my bike. I really feel as though the tri-bar brake light would fill that empty void perfectly. Problem is my fxstc is a 1994 model. Has anyone fabbed the tri bar to fit pre -06"? Does anyone know of something similar that would fit a 1994? I don't mind having two brake lights, I didn't like the look of the massive stock brake light. Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance to any help or suggestions! Al
