Default Fuelpak not compatable with tts master tune

Bought a 07 deluxe without knowing it had been tuned with tts prior. Now I bought a v&h fuelpak and it won't recognize my bike, called v&h they said they can't do anything because they can't bypass the tts mastune. Tts says I have to send them my Ecm so they can clear their software! To be able to use my fuelpak. Any help would be appreciated

what is it you were wanting the fuelpak to do that you can't get from the TTS?

after riding the bike a few times ,noticed decel popping a few spits and sputters and thought that i need some kind of tuner to get the bike running better. bought the fuelpak to help and it won't work because (so iam told by V&H) that the bike has been flashed with the TTS system and can't bypass or remove with out some kind of passcode from the previous owner, which i don't know ,bought from a dealer and they don't know. iam new to this tuner stuff so i really need some help, or my 300 dollars spent on fuelpak is lost

You are better served with the TTS and it would be worth the effort to retrieve the vci (dongle) from the original owner if possible. See if the fuel pak folk will do right thing and refund your money.

Id really get on the Dealer that you bought the bike from to find the previous owner and come up with the TTS.

there's gotta be a simpler way there to get along with these after market tuners.
They do more than control our machines.

Your tune has fuel turned up for performance, your going to get some decel pop, if the bike runs good don't mess with it.

Once the bike is flashed with TTS then it locks the ECM so no other tuners can change it. I ran into this with a Power Vision once. Nothing against TTS, IMO its one of the most comprehensive tuning devices out there, but locking the ECM is definitely a draw back for me.
