Default review, La Rosa design 1984-99 Harley-Davidson Softail Solo Seat Deluxe Conversion kit

I tried to fit the La Rosa design 1984-1999 Harley-Davidson Softail Solo Seat Deluxe Conversion kit to my 1994 Softail.

Knowing what I did about the VTwin kit on my 2003, I kept this frame cover in the wrapped plastic and placed it on my bike.
I could tell it was going to be bulky looking also, so I returned it.

Although not stated on their web page in the return section, they kept a restocking fee from what is an inflated price considering what you get.

So anyway, just something to think about before you feel like you're getting cheated out of money.

Thanks for the review. I've been contemplating this kit for a few months now but can't get past the price for what the kit includes. I have a 96 softail and want the spring seat conversion.

What other options do we have? Are you going with a different kit or a custom fab?

I'm making a custom set up.
I wasn't happy with anything I had found.

I ain't got the "correct tools" or knowledgeable skills . . ..
I've just been bothering the hell out of others who've done it before, harbor freight tools, and some pissed off determination! ;-)
