Default heat shield question.

I'm kicking around the idea of painting / coating the heat shields of my night train BLACK.. My first thought was powder coat.. but I'm worried that it won't stand up to the heat.. I know ceramic coating would probably do the trick, and there's probably a high temp paint I could use as well. Not going to get this done until the winter down time, just looking for input. What would be best? powder coat, ceramic coat, or high temp paint?

Thanks

Powder coating is baked in an oven once it is applied. I wouldn't think that the heat from your engine would have a negative effect...

I've thought that very same thing myself. Not sure if powder would hold up, but I think it would give you the best bag-for-the-buck if it did!
