Does anyone have this Harley Davidson rear axle cover? If so is there any room between the axle nut and the back of the cover? I want to drill a hole in the center and install a bolt from the back so I can attach chrome Perse spiked axle covers (To match my fronts).

I have the chrome versions on my bike. On the right, the outer side of the cover sticks out 3" from the brake rotor. On the left, it sticks out 3 1/8" from the pulley. On both sides, I placed the end of the tape measure between two of the pulley/rotor mounting bolts above the covers. I hope that makes sense.
