I recently picked up a King Tour Pak, to go with my hard bags. I mounted it on a Softail quick release Tour Pak rack, via a Kuryakyn adjustable Tour Pak reloactor. I had to modify the Kury relocator, by drilling 4 holes in the base plate to match up to the holes in the HD rack.
This weekend, my OL and I are heading down to Pennsylvania to do some riding with friends down there, so Reaper has been transformed with the hard luggage, and the addition of the Mustang Wide Touring seat, into a Baggetail. All in all, she doesn't look too bad with the luggage attached, and it takes only a few minutes to return her to her normal state.
is the mustang seat more comfortable than the Corbin in the top pic?
It's different. I prefer the Corbin. The Mustang raises me up and pushes me forward a bit. I find that on long runs, over 400 miles/day, my back tends to get fatigued on the Mustang. It's like it's TOO plush for me or it could be the different seating position. Whereas, I can ride, and have ridden, 800+ mile days on the Corbin with no discomfort. That said, the Mustang is a great seat, and the OL loves it!
