Default Will just any Smart Siren II work on a softail?

I have an ‘09 Softail Custom FSXTC with a factory security system but no alarm. I have found a number of posts and threads that show the installation on a Softail by removing the access panel in front of the rear wheel but nothing as to which Smart Siren II model will fit the softail. I have found a number of new and used SSII on eBay but have not a clue as to whether there is a difference between the actual siren models in respect to a softail install.

BTW, I have installed sirens on a dyna and EG but not on a softail. In each case I looked at the actual siren and antenna and saw no differences between various sirens.

Thanks in advance for any help.

On the HD website they list 3 different part numbers for the Siren II.

If you check under "fitment", you will see that your bike is listed under the one with part #68328-06A... it is also the cheapest of the three..

Go to Boardtracker or Surdyke and run that part number to see how much cheaper it will be to buy online...
