Problem w/Scorpio Alarm on my softail?
I have a SR-rlink i1100 SE and not getting much help with Aritronix Support.
I'm wondering if anyone with a softail has this alarm on their bikes and see if they are happy with it. This thing goes off by itself when I walk away from it at times when I have the remote in my pocket. Plus, when you turn on the ignition it suppose to beep once letting you know its disarming and at times it beeps twice.
The support I've gotten from Aritronix is the RFID is too close to the remote. According to them the remote is suppose to be at least two inches, I've explained the remote is in my pocket so the signal has to shoot through my leg and the seat which is well over a couple of inches and told them I'm limited on where it can be mounted on a softail.
Does anyone have this alarm system? If so where do you have the sensors mounted? These alarms are very expensive, so heads up before buying one.
