Ok guys with tachs , On a 2007 at what speeds in each gear are you at doing 3000 to 3500 rpms ?? Thanks !!

 

Somewhere between 0 and 110 mph, somewhere between 1st and 5th gear. I've never hit the rev limiter and WHO NEEDS A TACH?

 

DUHH?? TACH? Man I just hit it!! But maybe 80 M.P.H.? Are you giving a test after wards? Because I'M really not sure and I have a lowly 5 speed 06 scremin eagle 103 Fat Boy and you 07 guys have that extra gear!! Man I was JEAPED!!!

Hmm, at 3500 and better, all i'm checkin on is my rear view mirror, LOL.

 

In the owner's manual it says.....


1st to 2nd 15mph
2nd to 3rd 25mph
3rd to 4th 35mph
4th to 5th 45mph
5th to 6th 55mph


That said, when I got the Rush slip ons all those went out the window. Now it's all different.

Take this as an estimate as I've changed over the standard 66 tooth pulley on my Deuce for a chromed 70 tooth one so it revs a bit higher, plus I've got the VH Big Radius and SERT, but changing at about 3,000 to 3,500rpms (have the combo tach installed too):-

1st - up to about 20kph (12.4mph)
2nd - up to about 55kph (34.1mph)
3rd - up to about 80kph (49.7mph)
4th - when doing 100pph (62.1mph)
5th - rarely used yet... only done 403 miles
6th - used but only when doingplus 65mph and rpm drops to about 2,200 to 2,500... it charges along brilliantly though and eats up the road. Chalk and cheese compared to my now departed '01 Fireblade.
