I bought my train back in OCT 2007 brand new with 0 miles. Now tt has around 5500 miles. Today I noticed dry rot cracks all around both sides of the front tire. The bike is stored in a garage. Any ideas on why they're cracked already? This sucks! I was hoping to get more mileage out of them than this. The rear tire is perfect though....strange.

 

i'd be taking that back to dealer and asking them for answers. it doesn't sound right. however, it is an '06, and doesn't matter when you bought it, what matters is how old the tire is. since it is an '06, that tire could have been put on there as early as mid '05.
