Hey all,

Another noob question... Where is the transmission drain plug on a 91 FXSTC Softail Custom?

I have the service manual but even that doesn't help as it says in early models it's on the side but late models is underneath to the center...


I even looked with a mechanic friend (not a harley expert) and we could not find it... There are a couple of nuts but don't look like a drain bolt nor are they in the center between the shocks so you can torque them (they are sort to the side and under the shocks..)

Confused... Anyone has a bike of similar year and model that can help?

I just found it... from a german youtube video..

It is on the side of the transmission box behind the exhaust that one has to remove...
