Default Viking bags? 18’ Fat Bob

Hey Guys,

I’m looking into getting some aftermarket saddle bags. Anyone running Viking bags? They seem rather inexpensive and I am on a very tight budget. What do you guys think? Which bags would I get to fit my Fat Bob? I removed the stock upsweet exhaust and have V&H Short Shots so in theory, I should be able to install any of their bags, right?

Thanks guys! Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I had a swing arm bag from them...it was ok....for the price it did the job...the lid didn't seal as well as the more expensive ones...you could look down an see a gap.

You get what you pay for!

There has been some reports herein about both their quality and customer service.

LeatherPro bags are not inexpensive, but they do offer good quality bags specifically designed for the '18 Softail's. Their quick release mounting works great.

I've got LeatherPro bags on my '18 Fat Bob. High quality and worth the money. I love em.

I have Viking bags on my Fatboy. I got the hard ones in shiny black. My cost was about $300 with discounts. They are really built well, locking on top and swing open away from the bike. I liked them better than the leather ones that swing towards the bike with velcro that you have to deal with each time you open it. Totally happy with my purchase. I bought some from them for my Wife's bike previously, but the color wasn't what we thought so we easily returned them.

Here is a pic on my bike. Not a FatBob. I did relocate my turn signals previously. I also have EZBrackets to mount them with.
