Default 2018 Fat Bob High speed wobble

I was wondering if anyone else has this problem. It happens during acceleration above 90mph.

Thanks
Bill

I had a wobble above 100 mph. Depending on road surface and wind it gets dangerous above 110 mph but I also had none doing 120...

This was when I wanted to find the top speed. I usually don't go beyond 85.

Ive had done a lot of engine work on this bike and with 165hp at the rear wheel it gets to 90 quickly. Ive read some of the threads on this and i do have a wind screen. Ill take that off and see if it makes a diff. Also will change air pressures as well.

thanks for the input.

Pretty sure it's the windshield combined with road surface.
Afaic this falls in the category 'moist in speedo'
Should have been designed better but hey, is a Harley.

Mine just developed this. Was absolutely rock solid, I could take my hands off the handlebars at 80+ and it would track just as solid and true as you could hope for. But in the last 1000 miles or so, something's changed, and now above 70 the bars wobble, I mean they'll move about an inch or two back and forth. Not happy about it. Dealer can't get my bike in for review for over a week, but it may just be worn-out tires. Tires have about 9500 on them.

Probably not going to find many dealers who will ride your bike above 90 mph to check on the wobble. Also try using ride on as balancing. Tire weights will go out of balance after time, but using ride on should always keep the wheel in balance. Plus have the added benefit of sealant. But at 9500 miles, tires prob need replacing soon.

Steering heads bearings maybe or indicators fitted to the forks shorting and fuzing the head bearings.
Sometimes an old touring tire will rock from side to side from being worn in the center causing a weave.

I verified that my front tire appears to have worn unevenly, so I am going to replace the tires before looking into any other causes. It just came on so suddenly, it doesn't seem like it should be related to gradual tire wear, but regardless it seems the issue would be much easier to diagnose (or even disappear entirely) with new tires in place.
