Default how to fit the biggest tire on a 2002 train

i have a 2002 night train that i am wanting to put a wider tire on. i read that you can put a 150 on it but im wanting more in the neighborhood of mid 200s. now obviously id have to widen the swing arm but what about the final drive? would i have to space the front belt drive?

There is no cheap way to get into the mid 200's. You need to buy a wide tire kit from a reputable company...their are Chinese copy wide tire kits...

but on a 2000-up Softail you have to space out the primary, and use an extended main-shaft in the trans...don't want any Chinese parts in there.

The fat tire craze is over, so you may be able to find a deal on one of the above kits...as several vendors sell both of the above.

Agree'd with that wide tire craze, but I think a 200mm is a pretty tasteful tire for softails, but thats only my opinion.

Can't you just use 200mm tire night train parts? 2007+?

Sorry I see you want 250... yeah maybe a breakout frame and swing arm?

probably Harley's always seem to be behind the curve on things, I think most bike builders now think 200 is as far as you need go for looks and handling, still riding a Harley is all about being unique so ride what you like.

I do not have the original fender on my 2002 fat boy but I have an 18 inch wide rim on it and run a 180 tire on it now and if I switch to a chain and sprocket I can fit a 200
