I had a fairly long talk yesterday with the owner of an 18 107 Heritage.
He is VERY happy with the bike (compared to his earlier bikes). A couple of TC Heritages and Evo baggers. He said this will
corner better, stop better, it's WAY smoother, and the susp is leaps & bounds better, the whole deal.
He is just not happy with the whirring, ticking, oil spewing motor.
The dealer says the noises are normal (??!!) and they are (trying) to address the oil blow by (coming out of the air cleaner/breathers etc)
In that regard, he regrets trading in his 103 TC. He did say the 107 has more torque out of the box.

Mine hasn't had a drop of oil out of the breathers at all since they replaced the oil pump plate where as before it was puking out of the breathers so much that the bottom of my air cleaner would become saturated with oil and would drip all over the side of the bike and pipes.
