So I got my new mustache engine guard in for my bike, read the directions have my torque wrench and the right bits.....easy install 3 bolts. Then comes taking out the two plugs at the bottom of the frame...apparently not so easy and I cant find any videos on how to take them out. Does anyone have any tips to help, thanks.

 

Hey Wilbo, I believe the holes go all the way through so you should be able to push them out from behind.

 

I put those on my '18 Low Rider. If I remember right, they're plastic but actually have threads on 'em. I didn't care of they got torn up so I was able to work some duckbill pliers under the "flange" for lack of a better word, twisted it up and started turning counterclockwise. Once loosened they came out pretty easy. The hard part for me was getting a wrench on the nut for the top bolt with the oil cooler in the way. Not much room to get to it.
